This poster needs no introduction, just your participation and a little imagination

Still working with the same format, I imagined a poster that required a minor historical awareness and encouraged a mutual appreciation/admiration for certain design icons. The poster deals with absence. In one respect, it asks participation. Who can you (as participant) add to this list? How do you make this distiction? Being that the list of designers are deceased,

The vagueness of the language allows us to approach the poster in a number of ways and speaks to audiences in and out of the "know" of graphic design. The asterisk signifies a secondary level of meaning and asks us to reconsider the phrase "in conversation with".
